Toll roads

As of today, the Republic of Kazakhstan has 18 toll sections with a total length of 3,676 km, including: 11 sections of the 1st technical category with a total length of 2,161 km, and 7 sections of the 2nd and 3rd technical categories with a total length of 1,514 km.

The first section was “Astana-Shchuchinsk.” This road became a toll road in 2013.

Since January 2019, the following roads have operated on a toll basis: “Astana – Temirtau,” “Almaty – Khorgos,” and “Almaty-Konaev.”

Since November 23, 2021, the following roads have also become toll roads: "Astana - Pavlodar," "Taraz - Kainar," "Shymkent - Kyzylorda," "Shymkent - Taraz," "Shymkent - Uzbekistan border," "Konaev - Taldykorgan," and "Shchuchinsk - Kokshetau."

In 2023, in stages from October 8 to December 1, an additional 6 toll road sections started operating: “Pavlodar-Kalbatau,” “Beineu-Akzhigit,” “Uralsk-Samara,” “Pavlodar-Omsk,” “Kokshetau-Petropavlovsk,” and “Uralsk-Saratov.”

From January 26, 2025, the section “Kyzylorda-Aralsk” will also begin operating on a toll basis.

Subscription fee

Residents of settlements adjacent to the toll area have the opportunity to receive an RFID tag

For owners of passenger vehicles registered in settlements adjacent to the toll area, a subscription fee is provided for 365 days. To register the Subscription Fee, the owner of the vehicle must contact the Operator's representatives at the Toll Points and provide the following information: vehicle registration certificate and identification card.
